Perfect location, green garden, great volcano view, easy car access, close to hot springs. Friendly host, good wifi, basic but good breakfast. Lovely lodge close to Catarata Río Fortuna and Catho Volcano. Surrounding fields and forest. Many hummingbirds in the garden. Classic rice, beans, and black coffee breakfast. Spacious room, good hot shower, ample parking space. Beautiful birds in the garden, near mountain and waterfall. Father milks cows, sells delicious fresh cheese. Highly recommend this place and the people.

I had a wonderful stay at a secluded lodge surrounded by beautiful farmland. The peace and tranquility were exactly what I needed. The view of the volcano was breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. Despite what others have said, the WiFi was actually quite good. The road to the property was well-paved, which was a pleasant surprise in Costa Rica.

The lighting in the room wasn't great and there were openings on the windows without nets, so insects could easily enter. Also, there was no air conditioning, but there was a fan to help with the heat.

We loved the peaceful farm setting and the stunning view of the volcano. the family treated us like their own and the traditional Tico breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the well-maintained gardens with wild birds and the opportunity for morning bird watching. the rooms were clean and the hangout space was very chill. the location was great, with a short walk to the waterfall and a supermarket.

I had the most relaxing stay at this eco lodge surrounded by beautiful nature. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and I loved watching the birds in the morning. The lodge itself was spacious and comfortable, with a great garden for birdwatching. It was also nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend this place.

One small issue was the noise from the chicken coop behind my lodge that woke me up early in the morning. But, with a pair of earplugs, it was not a big deal.

Best stay in Costa Rica. Family owned, beautiful, nature-filled. Incredible volcano view. Clean rooms, chill hangout area, great breakfast. No car needed - walk to waterfall & supermarket. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tio Felix Eco Lodge! The lodge had a beautiful garden with stunning views of the surrounding nature. We enjoyed spending time in the cozy seating area outside, relaxing in the hammock, and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep. Although not right in town, there were excellent restaurants within walking distance and the famous Fortuna waterfall was just a stone's throw away. We also appreciated the convenience of using Uber to get to town and ordering food to the hotel. The breakfast, with its Costa Rican rice and beans, as well as fresh fruits, was a delightful highlight of our stay.
